About ARK Generators - Family-Owned Since 1979

Houston's Hometown Generator Company Since 1979

ARK Generators & Electrical Services has been installing, servicing, and maintaining whole-home and commercial standby generators throughout the Greater Houston Area since 1979. For more than 46 years, the same family has stood behind every job - first as a small residential electrical contractor, and today as one of the region's most trusted Generac and Kohler authorized dealers. We are based in Conroe, Texas, and we serve homeowners and businesses across Montgomery County and the greater Houston area.

Tim Weaver took ownership of the company in 1993 alongside his wife, continuing the family tradition of honest, quality-first workmanship that started with the very first install. When the power goes out in Conroe, Spring, Magnolia, The Woodlands, or Willis, Texas families call us because they know we will pick up, show up, and finish the job right the first time.

Why Conroe Homeowners and Businesses Choose ARK

Authorized Generac and Kohler Dealer

We are an authorized dealer for both Generac and Kohler — two of the industry's leading whole-home generator brands. Generac offers the most installed home standby line in North America with strong integration into smart home and battery systems. Kohler delivers premium engineering with quiet operation, extended warranty options, and corrosion-resistant aluminum enclosures. Whether you choose a Generac 22kW, a Kohler 20RESC, or something larger for a commercial property, we build a system that fits your real needs.

Licensed Texas Electrical Contractor

ARK holds Texas electrical contractor license TECL #19700 and master electrician license TEML #13093. Every wire, panel, and transfer switch we install meets current code, and we pull the permits ourselves so you never have to chase paperwork with the City of Houston, Montgomery County, or your local municipality.

24/7 Emergency Response

Our dispatcher answers the phone at any hour, and our service fleet covers Conroe, Spring, The Woodlands, Willis, Magnolia, Montgomery, Kingwood, Pearland, Katy, and the surrounding Greater Houston Area. Learn more about our 24/7 emergency generator service.

Our Team

ARK Generators is 40 employees strong. Our structure is built around specialists - journeyman and apprentice electricians, motor specialists, an office team, and a dedicated service division that handles every maintenance call personally. Our operations manager Josh, service manager Carlos, and install crews manager Inesensio lead teams that complete roughly 400 home and commercial generator projects every year.

We hire people who want to grow. As Tim puts it: we don't want to keep a foot on anyone's neck - we want people to learn, level up, and pass their knowledge to the next tech behind them. That culture shows up on every job site.
