Generator Installation in Houston Metro

Generator Services for the Greater Houston Metro

ARK Generators & Electrical Services has been installing and servicing whole-home and commercial standby generators across the Houston metro since 1979. Our headquarters is in Conroe - north of the city - and our fleet covers an enormous footprint: all of Montgomery County, much of Harris County, and increasingly Brazoria and Fort Bend counties as the metro expands outward. If you own a home or business in greater Houston and you need reliable backup power, we almost certainly serve your area.

A City That Needs Backup Power More Than Most

Houston is uniquely exposed to grid disruption. We get the hurricanes, the tropical storms, the derechos, the spring thunderstorm complexes, the winter freezes, and - increasingly - grid strain from population growth and data center expansion pulling on an already stretched ERCOT system. Any of these can cause multi-day outages, and most of them have in just the last few years. The only real answer is a whole-home standby generator that kicks on automatically when the grid fails and shuts off when utility power is restored.

Communities We Serve Across the Houston Metro

Our primary service area covers Conroe and all of Montgomery County, plus these major Houston metro communities:

• Conroe - Our headquarters, same-day service
• The Woodlands - Master-planned community specialists
• Spring - I-45 corridor commuter families
• Magnolia - Rural and suburban properties
• Montgomery - Lake Conroe waterfront
• Willis - Lake Conroe north shore
• Kingwood - The Livable Forest
• Pearland - Brazoria County south metro
• Katy - West Houston Energy Corridor

If you are in another Houston metro community not listed above, give us a call - we can almost certainly still help.
