Warranty Coverage on Every ARK-Installed Generator

Every whole-home standby generator installed by ARK Generators is backed by two layers of warranty protection: the manufacturer's factory warranty on the unit itself, and ARK's workmanship warranty on the installation labor. Together they give you meaningful protection if anything goes wrong after your install - and they make a multi-thousand-dollar investment feel a lot safer.

Generac Factory Warranty

Generac home standby generators ship with a limited factory warranty from Generac Power Systems. Standard coverage on the home standby lineup includes:

• 5-year limited warrantyon most home standby units
• 7-year extended warranty available as an upgrade at purchase time
• 10-year extended warranty available on select models and promotional programs

Warranty coverage includes parts and labor for defects in materials or workmanship, with specific limits and exclusions set by Generac. Kohler Factory Warranty

Kohler home standby generators are known for their long warranty terms, with factory coverage ranging up to 10 years on qualifying models. Kohler's residential warranty programs typically include:

• 5-year standard limited warranty on most home standby units
• Extended 10-year coverage on select models, often tied to promotional programs
• Commercial and industrial warranty terms for larger Kohler units, negotiated per project

ARK Workmanship Warranty

In addition to the factory warranty on the generator itself, ARK provides a workmanship warranty on our installation labor. If any part of the install we performed - electrical wiring, transfer switch, concrete pad, gas line tie-in, or commissioning - is found to be defective within the warranty period stated on your contract, we return and fix it at no cost. That is our promise, and it has been part of how we do business since 1979.

What Warranties Do Not Cover

Like any manufacturer warranty, Generac and Kohler warranties have limits. Typical exclusions include:

• Damage from natural disasters (flooding, falling trees, lightning strikes on the unit)
• Failure from lack of maintenance - warranty coverage generally requires the unit to be serviced on the manufacturer's recommended schedule
• Wear items like spark plugs, oil, filters, and belts
• Unauthorized repairs or modifications
• Commercial use of residential-rated equipment
